Digital Desk: Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced that the state will facilitate 25,000 pilgrims to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya this year.

The decision made during a session at the state assembly on February 12, reflects Assam's commitment to fostering religious harmony and facilitating pilgrimage.

The Ram Temple's consecration on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi officiating, marked a significant milestone in India's cultural and religious landscape. 

The event attracted a multitude of dignitaries from various spheres, underscoring the temple's national importance.

Since its inauguration, the temple has drawn over a million devotees, symbolizing the enduring reverence for Lord Ram.
