Digital Desk: Following the increasing number of corruption cases in the state, Assam Police launched an anti-corruption action helpline number to report any corruption.
The police further urged the people of the state to report monetary demands made by government employees.
Moreover, Special Director General of Police (DGP) Law and Order, GP Singh, on Friday asked the citizens to report to the police on the helpline number in case any government official made a demand for payment.

Meanwhile, taking Twitter Singh wrote, "Please give specific information of demand made by a government employee before giving money. This would allow us to lay a trap and catch them red-handed."
