No deaths were reported during the period and the toll remained unchanged at 6,670. Another 1,347 positive patients have died due to co-morbidities so far.
Digital Desk: Assam has reported 508 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 5,296.
According to National Health Mission (NHM), Assam data, the positivity rate stands at 6.73%.
Notably, 618 patients have been discharged and no causalities have been reported in the last 24 hours in the state.
Meanwhile, at least 7,549 new tests were conducted, out of which cases were reported from Lakhimpur (46), Dibrugarh (46), Kamrup Metro (38), Sonitpur (28), and Biswanath (26).
The recovery rate stands at 98.20%.
It is to be noted that overall, Assam reports 7,39,514 cases and 7,26,201 have been discharged.
