Digital Desk: The 30th Assam Rifles and Siaha Police initiated a coordinated operation on Sunday at around 2:00 pm acting on specific input about the movement of warlike stores towards Myanmar through the Lungbun crossing.
 
The two miscreants dropped their bags and fled towards Myanmar by crossing the Kolodyne River when the team spotted two unknown youths carrying some articles.

The following items were discovered when the combined team approached and looked through the luggage the two youths left behind, however, the two accused were unable to apprehend: Geletine: 100 nos., Detonator: 100 nos., AK-47 ammunition: 150 rounds, Wire (codex): 10 metres, Battery cell: 10 nos.
 
 A case has been filed against an unknown accused for further investigation and legal action under the Siaha PS Case No.69/2023 dt.8.10.23 us 25(1)(A) Arms Act r/w Sec.5 ES Act.
