The school authorities are instructed to take immediate action to ensure that no exams are conducted during these dates...

Digital Desk: A directive was sent to all schools in the Kamrup Metro area on Thursday by Dipika Choudhury, the Inspector of Schools and area Mission Coordinator of SSA, Kamrup (M), in view of the upcoming Ambubachi Mela. In accordance with the directives from the District Commissioner, it is recommended that no exams should be scheduled from June 22 to 26, 2024.

The school authorities are instructed to take immediate action to ensure that no exams are conducted during these dates. Additionally, the schools that have already scheduled examinations on the mentioned dates are required to rearrange them appropriately.

This move has been taken to avoid causing any disruption to the students as a result of the anticipated large number of pilgrims from all across India traveling to Guwahati, Assam, for the Ambubachi Mela.

Concerned school administrations are urged to swiftly comply with this notification for further details and necessary actions.
