Digital Desk: The Assam Society of Bangalore celebrated the 53rd birthday of beloved artist Zubeen Garg by planting Nahor saplings across Bangalore.


Around 500 Nahor saplings were transported from Assam to Bangalore specially for this occasion.  


Sathish Reddy, MLA of Bommanahalli Constituency, actively participated in the initiative by joining the team in planting saplings.


The members planted the saplings in various locations and also distributed them to individuals interested in planting them at their homes.


The celebration also featured a cake-cutting ceremony and vibrant cultural programs at the Assam Society of Bangalore office in Indira Nagar.


In honour of the late legendary singer Zubeen Garg, the office has been renamed "Nahor."
