The student in question, identified as Nisha Taslim, a first-year high school student enrolled in the Arts stream.
According to sources, the young girl suffered major injuries when she reportedly jumped off the MCB administrative building on the campus.
Students passing by quickly informed the university authorities, who rushed her to the city's Nemcare hospital.
According to several sources, she is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
It is suspected that it was a case of attempted suicide as a note was recovered from her room, "It was all my fault".
