Sarma promised to uplift the indigenous communities by granting them land rights...

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has unveiled a new initiative aimed at bringing 10 lakh girls to college. In addition to receiving free admission under this program, poor girls would also receive Rs 10,000 in their bank account.

The boys' education will be handled by their parents, while the government will bear the responsibility of the girls' education. Sarma emphasized that the education of a caste's women is ultimately linked to the caste's empowerment. 

 In addition, each female student attending college would receive Rs 12,000, and each girl attending university would receive Rs 15,000 in their bank account.

During the Land Patta distribution ceremony, Sarma promised to uplift the indigenous communities by granting them land rights, with Mission Basundhara 2.0.
