Digital Desk: Nistha Priyam Sharma, a young talent from Assam, received an award from the Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar

Nistha, a class 9 student of Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, secured the second position in the competition held among lakhs of participants from the country.

The Power Grid Corporation, under the Ministry of Power, annually organizes this competition focusing on themes related to energy conservation. Three participants from each state were selected for the national-level competition held in Delhi.

Nistha Priyam Sharma, daughter of Rishi Kumar Sharma and Jahnavi Sharma from Guwahati's Ambikagiri Nagar, represents Assam and emerged as the second prize winner in this prestigious painting competition.

The award ceremony was organized at the National Science Centre in Delhi. There, Nistha was felicitated by the Vice President of India.

Additionally, the Minister of State for Power & NRE, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, awarded appreciation certificates to the competition's winners and Nistha was honored with the silver medal, certificate, 50 thousand rupees, laptop, trolley bag, and colour bag.

Young achiever Nistha along with her family has expressed joy over the achievement. They told the media that they were going to change their plan and work further.
