Digital Desk: The BJP's Lallu Singh was defeated in the Lok Sabha seat of Faizabad, which includes Ayodhya and saw the opening of a magnificent Ram Temple earlier this year.

Three-time MP Singh from Faizabad was up against Awadesh Prasad, a candidate for the SP. 

The 2019 Lok Sabha election saw the BJP win over 60 seats in Uttar Pradesh, where the INDIA bloc made significant gains.
