Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi secures victory in the Varanasi seat of Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutive term, defeating Congress candidate Ajay Rai by a margin of 1,52,513 votes. Previously, in 2014, Modi triumphed over AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal by a margin exceeding 4 lakh votes, and in 2019, he emerged victorious against Samajwadi Party's Shalini Yadav. Ajay Rai, who also contested against PM Modi in the last two elections, trailed significantly, securing a distant third position this time.
