Digital Desk: Around one crore school students in Rajasthan set a world record on Friday by singing patriotic songs as part of the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' campaign. Between 10.15 a.m. and 10.40 a.m., students from various districts across the state sang patriotic songs together to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The main event was held at Sawai Man Singh Stadium (SMS) in Jaipur, with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and other dignitaries in attendance.

The students set the record by singing songs such as 'Vande Mataram,' 'Sare Jahaan Se Acha,' 'Hum Honge Kamyab,' and the national anthem for approximately 25 minutes.

CM Ashok Gehlot extends his gratitude

State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot addressed students at the Sawai Mansingh (SMS) stadium and congratulated them on their achievements.

"I am pleased that the World Book of Records, London, a prestigious institution, listened to the songs sung by one crore students and presented the state government with a certificate," he said.

According to Gehlot, the new generation should instill the values of brotherhood and sacrifice because they are the country's future.
