Digital Desk: Three notorious thieves were arrested by the Basistha Police in a swift operation.
The suspects, identified as Asadul Khan, Ahmed Ali, and Saiful Islam, were arrested from Hatigaon area after they targeted an unoccupied residence in Chandan Nagar, Basistha, and looted valuables.
The stolen items included gold jewelry and other expensive belongings.
Acting promptly after the affected family filed an FIR at the Basistha Police Station, officials launched an investigation and successfully recovered the stolen items within 12 hours.
Among the recovered valuables were a gold chain, a pair of gold earrings, a bracelet, and other gold ornaments.
The arrested individuals were reportedly involved in a series of thefts that had caused significant distress across various parts of the city.
