Digital Desk: In a shocking incident at Sonari, one man was murdered when his acquaintance attacked him with a broad-bladed knife. The incident took place on the very first day of the new year.
The horrific incident occurred at Sonari’s Bengenabari Lukhurasan village, where a local named Dilip Arandhara attacked Barun Chetia and Sukheshwar Gogoi with a knife.

Both the victims were seriously injured, and they were immediately sent to Dibugarh’s Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH); however, Barun Chetia succumbed to his injuries on the way itself.
On the other hand, Sukeshwar Gogoi is undergoing treatment in a critical condition. Locals suspect the unfortunate incident to have taken place due to a personal dispute.
