Bhagwat emphasized India's capacity for bringing people together by referring to it as a nation that brings people together...

Digital Desk: Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on September 1 said that Bharat should be used instead of India and urged the people to inculcate the habit.

Mohan Bhagwat claimed in his speech to the Sakal Jain Samaj that the word "Bharat" has been a crucial component of the country's identity since ancient times and should be embraced and spread.

He said, "The name of our country has been Bharat for ages. Whatever may be the language, the name remains the same.”

Bhagwat emphasized the significance of using "Bharat" in all practical circumstances, suggesting that this change in nomenclature would have a significant effect.

" Therefore, our nation is Bharat we must cease referring to it as 'India' and begin referring to it as Bharat in all contexts; only then can change occur. We will need to refer to our nation as Bharat and explain it to other people," he said.

Bhagwat emphasized India's capacity for bringing people together by referring to it as a nation that brings people together. He asserted, "Today the world needs us. Without us, the world can't run. We have connected the world through yoga."

The historical background in which the British colonial rulers abolished the Indian educational system was also acknowledged by Bhagwat. He praised the New Education Policy as an effort to instil a sense of patriotism in the younger generation.

Bhagwat also asked parents to give their children a strong understanding of Indian culture, traditions, and family values.
