Digital Desk: Indian Railways will issue appointment letters to over 35,000 applicants by the end of March 2023. An official notified this on Thursday.
"By March 2023, the Indian Railways would have completed the recruiting process for all 35,281 positions," Amitabh Sharma, Executive Director (Information and Publication) Indian Railways said.
"The railway is planning to receive results from all levels separately so that more railway candidates can acquire jobs," Sharma told a media outlet.
When asked why the results of all levels were not released at the same time, Amitabh Sharma stated that the simultaneous release of results deprives many eligible candidates of job opportunities, noting that the same applicant qualifies for many different postings in one test result. As a result, many qualified people are denied the perks of the position.
"The Railway is ready to receive the results of all levels separately so that more and more job applicants can have opportunities," Sharma added.
Sharma, rightly stressing the Railways' efforts in finishing this recruiting drive, stated that, despite Covid, the Railways is preparing for exams and results and would be joining in a short time. "Railways will complete the recruitment process for all 35,281 positions by March 2023," Sharma stated.
