Digital Desk: In a tragic occurrence, a 27-year-old woman in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh was detained on Thursday after she was caught on camera abandoning her baby kid before eloping with her lover.
According to reports, the mother threw her 6-month-old child into a drain
using a 9-year-old daughter. She then made up a tale in which two criminals
riding motorcycles kidnapped the girl's child and escaped.
She was observed strolling with the girl by the drainage system, and the
girl put the 6-month-old into the sewer, according to CCTV footage inspected by
Bijnor SP (rural), who said that this is how the incident was discovered.
According to the SP, the mother retained the 9-year-old daughter to care for the baby. On Tuesday, the event took place in the Luhari Sarai neighbourhood of Nageena town in Bijnor.
The suspect was arrested by police and jailed after being charged with murder. Her boyfriend is also wanted, so the hunt is on. Asif, the wife's spouse, works for a business with headquarters in Saudi Arabia.
