Reportedly, police are looking for eyewitnesses and  CCTV footage is being recovered.


Digital Desk: BJP leader Jeetu Choudhary was shot outside his house in Delhi's Mayur Vihar on Wednesday (April 20). 


Reportedly, armed gunmen allegedly shot at the BJP leader at 8:15 pm on Wednesday, following which he was taken to the hospital but was declared brought dead by the doctor.


According to the police, at around 8:15 pm on Wednesday, officers on patrol in Mayur Vihar-III, Delhi, saw a crowd near pocket C-1. When inquired, a  man was spotted lying in a pool of blood in the crowd. The victim was eventually identified as Jitender, aka Jeetu Choudhary. 


The police investigated the crime site after the incident. A few empty cartridges and other relevant evidence are found on the spot.


Reportedly, police are looking for eyewitnesses and  CCTV footage is being recovered.
