The MLA, who was holding a stick, informed reporters that although cows are afflicted with lumpy skin conditions, the state government is sound asleep.

Digital Desk: In a bid to draw the state government's attention to the lumpy skin disease, BJP MLA Suresh Singh Rawat brought a cow to the Rajasthan Assembly on Monday. Before the minister could get to the location of the assembly, the cow ran away, however.

Here is the video:

When the cow fled from the area, dragging the man holding onto the rope that it was tethered to, Rawat was speaking to the media outside the assembly gate. In response to Govind Singh Dotasra of the Congress, Rawat tweeted, "Even the cow is angry with this insensitive government."

The MLA, who was holding a stick, informed reporters that although cows are afflicted with lumpy skin conditions, the state government is sound asleep. I brought a cow to the Vidhan Sabha (campus) to raise awareness about lumpy illness, Rawat remarked.

The lumpy skin disease has caused 59,027 cow deaths, and 13,02,907 livestock have been infected, according to data released by the animal husbandry department on Monday.
