Digital Desk: During an ongoing boat race, a horrific accident occurred in the Jaljali River near Rangeshwari Pam Janata Market.
After the completion of the first round, one of the competing boats sank into the river. Fortunately, ten to twelve individuals were narrowly rescued from the water.
The small boat race competition, which began on Monday, was being held on the Jaljali River. A total of eleven small boats participated in the competition.
In one of the rounds, the competitor's boat from Rangeshwari village emerged victorious, which evoked excitement among the players of the boat.
Amid their joyous celebration, the boat lost balance and sank completely.
However, the event organisers acted swiftly, deploying a nearby motorized boat to rescue the players and retrieve the submerged boat.
Thankfully, all the players were saved, with no casualties or damage in the dreadful accident.
