Digital Desk: A shocking incident has emerged from Titabor, where the body of a missing student, untraceable for four days, was recovered in the septic tank of a toilet within a business establishment owned by Jagat Singh in Jonaki Mandal village.

The deceased, identified as Biplabi Das, was found in a distressing condition.

Following the recovery late at night, enraged locals vandalised Jagat Singh's business establishment, expressing their outrage over the incident.

The situation prompted the arrival of a large police team, led by Jorhat District Additional Superintendent of Police Luna Sonowal, to restore order and manage the escalating tension.

Reports suggest that Jagat Singh was connected to the student. Based on his confession, the police were able to locate and recover the body of the young woman, who had been missing since November 7.
