Digital Desk: Zublee Baruah gave a detailed 2.5-hour statement to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) today. After her statement, she appeared emotional while addressing the media.
Upon leaving the Crime Investigation Department (CID) office, she shared a few remarks about Assam's cultural icon Zubeen Garg, but refrained from commenting on whether she would appear before the SIT again.
She urged everyone to wait for the SIT's charge sheet before drawing conclusions.
Speaking about financial irregularities, she clarified that Zubeen Garg was managed by Siddharth Sharma, who also managed her.
She stated that no irregularities have been observed in her case so far. If there are any concerns regarding Zubeen Garg's untimely demise, she expressed confidence that the SIT would investigate thoroughly.
Additionally, she appealed to the public to avoid piracy of Zubeen Garg's dream project Roi Roi Binale, emphasizing that true fans of the legendary singer should support him by refraining from such practices.
