Mumbai: The flare up caused in Tinsel town with many names cropping up post Raj Kundra's arrest after his name being added onto "Key-Cospirator" in the Pornography Case, the court will be hearing today on the same to look into other probable causes of the crime.
The Mumbai Police along with the Crime Branch are looking all angles related to the Pornography case, not leaving out on online betting as one of the probable. The Bombay Court will be hearing onto a petition filed by Raj Kundra who seeks to challenge the police custody on unfound grounds along with seeking bail. Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj Kundra was arrested on the grounds of shooting, publishing pornographic materials online, and which has been thwarted by Shilpa as stating the videos to be “Erotic” and not pornographic.
Raj Kundra was detained and put behind bars by the Bombay Police on alleged suspicion of using money earned from Pornographic materials for online betting racket and hence a descriptive interrogation was needed. The interrogation will try to substantiate the connection between the money laundering and fishing between two bank accounts that are alleged to have a connection with the Porn Film Case.
Kundra’s police custody was extended by Metropolitan Magistrate till July 27 after his remand expired on july 23, 2021.
