Digital Desk: A mobile phone/smart cell  has brought dark days for a family in Guwahati

Four days ago, a woman of the Milan Nagar in Borbari,Guwahati  has disappeared, supposedly as a victim of what is believed to be a human-trafficking network.


The missing woman, 35-year-old Minuwara Begum, a mother of three, disappeared from her Borbari residence on 10th November. Although her family had searched extensively in different places, they could not trace her. Her husband Musa Ali turned to the police as she was untraceable.


Separate missing person complaints have been lodged at Dispur Police Station and Paltan Bazar Police Station.


According to her husband, Minuwara had been communicating with several people from Indore, Madhya Pradesh through the Achat app.He is worried that she might fall prey to a trafficking or flesh-trade service based in Indore. The investigation by the police is in progress.
