New Delhi: One police personnel suffered minor injuries after a low intensity blast rocked Rohini Court in Delhi on Thursday morning. The injured police personnel has been taken to the hospital.

The security personnel have assumed that a laptop in courtroom 102 had exploded. Top sources in the Delhi Police have confirmed that the explosion was a low-intensity bomb blast. An improvised explosive device (IED) and a tiffin-like object were recovered from the site.

The special cell of the Delhi Police is investigating the incident at present. The Special Commissioner of Police - Law and Order also reached the site of the incident. A National Security Guard (NSG) team has also been called.

Fire officials said they received information about the explosion at 10.40 am, following which seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
