Coonoor: Indian Air Force's Group Captain Varun Singh was injured in the tragic helicopter crash accident, which led to the death of Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and his wife Mrs Madhulika Rawat
The sole survivor of the tragic accident, Varun Singh, is under treatment with multiple injuries.
An Air Force chopper with CDS General Bipin Rawat and some of his family members onboard, crashed in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris district on Wednesday. As per reports, the helicopter crashed owing to poor visibility due to dense fog. Of the 14, 13 have died while Group Captain Varun Singh is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
