Digital Desk: Union Minister Rajnath Singh took to Twitter to confirm that he has tested positive for Covid-19. He confirms that he has mild symptoms and is currently under quarantine.
The minister tweeted earlier, "I have tested positive for Corona today with mild symptoms. I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested."
Rajnath Singh has everyone who has come in contact with him, may get themselves tested for the contagion.
Several ministers, politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, have tested positive for the virus as India sees a sharp surge in its Covid tally triggered by the fast-spreading and highly infectious Omicron variant.
