Guwahati: The ferry services from Guwahati to North Guwahati have been suspended owing to thick fog and cold conditions. The suspension of ferry services by the authorities have left pilgrims and people upset, who had planned to visit various temples in the city in the occasion on Magh Bihu. Their commuting options were limited though as authorities has to take the decision to suspend ferry services. Further, authorities have announced that the services will remain suspended until the weather doesn’t get cleared.
