Digital Desk: On Wednesday night, an unidentified criminal shot
and killed a businessman in Bilasipara, Assam's Dhubri district. The
victim, named as Baser Ali, was a well-known and established businessman in the
region.
Unidentified miscreants shot Ali at point-blank range near
Bhairabganj in Bilasipara last night, according to sources, and he died on the
spot.
The miscreants then abandoned the scene and vanished into the
darkness.

According to accounts, the businessman was assassinated over a
money disagreement. The precise cause of the escalation, on the other hand,
