Prime Minister Modi credited the party's teamwork for its triumph in three out of four states...

Digital Desk: In a recent address at the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted election data, emphasizing the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) consistent success in assembly elections. Modi asserted that the BJP stands as the public's preferred choice for governance, supported by data illustrating the party's impressive record.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi credited the party's "teamwork" for its triumph in three out of four states in the recent elections—Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Notably, he mentioned the party's strengthened presence in Mizoram and Telangana. Emphasizing his role as a humble worker, Modi discouraged the use of honorifics like 'Shree' and 'Adarniya' when referring to him, preferring to be known simply as 'Modi.'

The Prime Minister presented compelling statistics, stating that the BJP, in power, went into polls 39 times and successfully retained power 22 times, achieving a remarkable success rate of 56 percent. In contrast, he pointed out that the Congress faced re-election 40 times and secured victory only seven times, with a success rate of 18 percent.

Modi also highlighted that regional parties, while outperforming the Congress, fell short of the BJP's success rate, winning 18 out of 36 times in power, translating to a 50 percent success rate.

The BJP MPs, echoing the sentiment of Modi's leadership, refrained from using honorifics in their slogans, aligning with the Prime Minister's preference for simplicity.

The meeting witnessed enthusiastic slogans praising Modi's leadership, with party veterans, including BJP President JP Nadda, felicitating the Prime Minister during the Parliamentary Party meeting, marking the beginning of the Winter Session.

The article concludes by noting the BJP's recent electoral triumphs in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the party's ability to retain power in the latter.

Telangana served as a consolation prize for the Congress, where Revanth Reddy assumed the role of Chief Minister. Prime Minister Modi's reliance on election data underscores the BJP's strong position in Indian politics and its consistent appeal to the electorate.
