Following the death of Anima Das, a heated situation prevailed at the B Baruah Cancer Hospital on Wednesday. The patient's family members made serious allegations against the hospital's doctors and nurses.

Someone’s death or someone surviving. Isn't it? Well in a case of medical negligence a person has lost her life as the saviors did not provide the necessary treatment to the patient. Yes, this is a case from Guwahati’s B Baruah Cancer Hospital where a serious cancer patient died due to the poor response from the medical staff of the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Anima Das and she was a resident of the Zoo road area in the city.
Following the death of Anima Das, a heated situation prevailed at the B Baruah Cancer Hospital on Wednesday. The patient's family members made serious allegations against the hospital's doctors and nurses.
According to sources, the family alleged that the patient was left without treatment for several hours. They further claimed that even after urging the doctors several times, the medical staff didn’t pay attention and instead threatened the family members.
Moreover, the family stated that even after the medicine was brought, the doctor did not use it which resulted in the patient’s deteriorating health situation.
However, this is not the first time this kind of allegation made against the hospital as it is said to be a long-standing issue.
While talking to Prag News, the family claims that earlier also there were many victims left without treatment.
It is to be noted that there is also a report about corruption at the hospital. Therefore, the citizens of the city are now demanding a legal investigation against B Baruah Hospital and the medical staff.
