Digital Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 Board Examination 2026 (Session 1) is announced today. The anticipation of an early declaration comes in view of the second phase of board examinations scheduled to begin on 15th May.
Earlier reports indicate that CBSE has already declared the Class 10 results for Phase 1 exams conducted between 17th February and 11th March, 2026. This year marks a significant change, as CBSE has introduced a two-phase examination system. Under this policy, students can opt for a second board exam for improvement, scheduled from 15th May to 1st June, 2026.
Although the board has not officially confirmed the exact result date, indications suggest that the announcement is imminent. DigiLocker has also advised students through a post on X to set up their accounts in advance to avoid last-minute delays.
According to DigiLocker, students without an APAAR ID must create their accounts, while those with an APAAR ID linked to CBSE will receive their digital marksheets directly in the “Issued Documents” section.
Once declared, students can check their results on the official websites , cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in, using their login credentials. Around 25 lakh students appeared for the examinations this year.
Apart from official websites, DigiLocker remains one of the fastest ways to access results, allowing students to download digital marksheets instantly after the declaration.

· Click on “Get Started”
· Enter required details along with the access code provided by the school
· Verify mobile number using OTP
· Activate the account
Digital marksheets and certificates will be issued via DigiLocker soon after the results are declared.

· Open the app and log in using your mobile number
· Search for “CBSE” under the Education category
· Select the CBSE board option
· Click on the “Class 10 result” link
· Enter the required credentials and submit to view the result
