Digital Desk: A goat was stolen in broad daylight by a thief in a four wheeler vehicle, creating quite a stir in Barpeta road. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.
The thief came in a private car, registration number AS 01 EZ 6819, and parked it on the main road. From the CCTV footage, the thief is seen offering biscuits to the goat and luring it closer to the car. When the goat reached the vehicle, the thief struck it immediately and quickly loaded it into the car. He locked the door behind him and sped away.
The goat stolen was white in color. The incident has shocked the residents of the area as it occurred on the main road of Ward 10 in Barpeta road.
