Digital Desk: Informing you about a very significant update regarding Chandrayaan-3, prior to its landing, the Schools and educational institutions across the state have been ordered to stay open until 6 pm on August 23 and set up the LIVE broadcast on the premises as Chandrayaan-3 is getting ready to land on the moon. Henceforth, the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission issued a directive on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam issued an order to all Officials of Schools, stating that "All Inspectors of Schools are hereby directed to instruct all schools and educational institutions to witness the live telecasting of Chandrayan-3 landing tomorrow, i.e. 23-Aug-2023 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM in the official website of ISRO (https://www.isro.gov.in/), ISRO'S Official YouTube Channel and DD National."

The Misson Director, Om Prakash, has requested in writing that the schools arrange an on-site live streaming of Chandrayaan-3's soft landing.

The mission director also asked that students from adjacent schools be invited to the specific schools where the live broadcast will take place. This will help to promote a culture of scientific curiosity and creativity among the students and faculty.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced on August 20 that Chandrayaan-3 will make a historic moon landing on August 23, 2023, at approximately 6:04 p.m.

With this mission, India takes an important step towards joining China, the United States, and Russia in making a successful soft landing on the moon's south pole. With the expected successful landing on August 23, India will become the fourth country in the world to accomplish this feat.

The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is only three days away from completing a great achievement by reaching the moon's south pole.

It should be noted that the Indian spacecraft, launched on July 14, is slated to soft-land on the lunar surface, which will be broadcast live on August 23.
