Sandipan Garg and the two bodyguards presented arguments focusing on financial transactions linked to the case
Digital Desk: In the case related to Zubeen Garg, charge framing proceedings against two bodyguards and Sandipan Garg- Zubeen Garg’s brother are currently underway, informed Jayanta Kakoti, a prominent Assamese music composer, director, and close associate of Zubeen Garg, frequently collaborating with him on songs and albums.
During the hearing, counsels representing Sandipan Garg and the two bodyguards presented arguments focusing on financial transactions linked to the case.
Advocate Nandeswar Bora told the court that Zubeen Garg had entrusted him with money and that he maintains detailed records of every transaction made by the singer. He clarified that he is not Garg’s Chartered Accountant but had retained the funds as they were handed over to him directly.
The court is scheduled to take up the charge framing proceedings against Shyamkanu Mahanta tomorrow.
