Digital Desk: The recent catastrophic flood has had an impact on Assam, claiming lives and destroying livelihoods. People from all around India are banding together in this difficult time to aid the flood-affected area. Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor has jumped on board to offer his assistance to the people of Assam. He announced on Instagram that he has partnered with Taj Hotels, a non-profit organisation, and World Kitchen Centre to deliver food to Assam flood-affected areas.

"1200 lunches were provided in Assam's flood-affected communities in collaboration with @wckitchen and @tajhotels. Today's dinner included Khichdi, Begun Bhaja, Mixed Sabji, Vanilla Cake, and some juice "On June 26, 2022, he made a post on Instagram. He sent a photo of the prepared meals next to it, the kitchen set up, and other things.

Internet users praised chef Sanjeev Kapoor for the initiative, which attracted notice right away. One wrote, "Good cause Chef." Another remark stated, "Such a worthy goal. Well done, chef." "God bless everybody who joined the excellent cause," read a third post.

Sanjeev Kapoor, a chef, has already taken the effort to assist others in need. He, the World Kitchen Centre, and the Taj Hotel served meals to the front-line medical staff at Cooper Hospital and Sion Hospital in Mumbai in 2021 (during Covid-19 severities).
