The conflict escalated, leading to an assault on the police, during which a police vehicle was vandalised.


This incident occurred in the first block of Mohammadpur, under the jurisdiction of the Lala police station in Hailakandi district.


The dispute between two families over the betel nut trees intensified, leading to the arrival of a large police team from the Abdullah outpost to manage the situation.


During the intervention, a group attacked the police vehicle, completely shattering its glass, and injuring the driver.


Hailakandi police has arrested ten women and three men from the village in connection with the incident.


Following the attack, a significant police force conducted house-to-house searches in the area.
