Digital Desk: A tragic incident unfolded in the 2 No. Shakomari under Boko police station in the Boko-Chhaygaon constituency on Christmas Eve.


While sleeping after dinner in a bamboo hut, a sudden fire broke out, leading to a devastating accident.


Three children suffered severe burns in the fire.


Among them, 10-year-old Agusha O. Sanga tragically succumbed to injuries and was declared dead at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).


Agusha, a class 3 student of Grace Presbyterian English School, leaves behind grieving loved one.


Meanwhile, two other children, Manruk Marak (9) and Tribasa Marak (7), are currently undergoing treatment at GMCH in critical condition.


The fire, which erupted on the night of December 24, has left the cause undetermined.


This heartbreaking incident, which occurred amidst the joy and celebrations of Christmas, has left the 2 no. Shakomari area in shock and has plunged the affected families into deep mourning.
