He will attend a BJP office bearers’ meeting at the Multipurpose Hall near the Police Reserve in Dibrugarh
Digital Desk: The Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to embark on a four-day official tour of Upper Assam starting Tuesday, October 7. The visit will cover key districts including Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Dhemaji, and Jonai.
As per the official itinerary, Dr. Sarma will arrive to Dibrugarh Airport in the afternoon and go to the New Circuit House at Gelapukhuri, Tinsukia.
On Wednesday,8th October , he will travel to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Dibrugarh and later inaugurate the Automated Vehicle Fitness Testing Station at Lahowal. He will also hold a meeting with the representatives of the Moran community in the Secretariat in the evening.
The following day, Thursday,9th October , Dr. Sarma is scheduled to visit Simen Chapori, Jonai, and Dhemaji before returning to Dibrugarh. That evening, he will attend a BJP office bearers’ meeting at the Multipurpose Hall near the Police Reserve in Dibrugarh.
On the final day of his visit, Friday, October 10, the Chief Minister will participate in a ceremonial distribution programme of the Mukhyamantrir Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA) at Khanikar Field, Dibrugarh, before returning to Guwahati in the afternoon.
