According to District Magistrate Kaushalraj Sharma, the Chief Minister's helicopter was forced to land here after being hit by a bird when it took off from here (Varanasi) towards Lucknow.

Digital Desk: According to officials, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, had to make an emergency landing in Varanasi this morning when a bird attacked his helicopter soon after takeoff.

After returning from a two-day journey to Varanasi, the Chief Minister boarded a jet and flew to Lucknow.

After takeoff, a bird is said to have shattered a window on the Lucknow-bound chopper. After the pilot sought an emergency landing, the helicopter made a successful touchdown at Varanasi's Police Lines Ground.

They went on to say that no injuries had been reported.

According to District Magistrate Kaushalraj Sharma, the Chief Minister's helicopter was forced to land here after being hit by a bird when it took off from here (Varanasi) towards Lucknow.

Officials have reported that Yogi Adityanath visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi on Saturday and also attended a review conference.
