Digital Desk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Coimbatore on Saturday morning on an IndiGo flight from Delhi.
Starting today, Gandhi will visit Udhagamandalam (Ooty) as part of his two-day visit to Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Gandhi is then scheduled to travel by road to Wayanad, his parliamentary constituency in Kerala. This will be his first visit after being reinstated as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha following the Supreme Court's stay order on his conviction in the 'Modi' surname issue.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee Working President VT Siddique stated that Gandhi will attend a district Congress Committee meeting.
"Rahul Gandhi will be given the warmest welcome in the history of Wayanad," Siddique said.
According to sources, the Congress MP will embark on a Europe tour beginning in the second week of September, visiting three countries: Belgium, Norway, and France, where he would meet European Union Parliamentarians, the Indian diaspora, and university students.
Meanwhile, Gandhi addressed the Lok Sabha during his party's no-confidence vote against the PM Modi-led central government. The motion, which was moved by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and supported by the Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), was defeated on Thursday following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address.
Gandhi made an aggressive attack on PM Modi's speech in the Lok Sabha during the no-confidence motion, claiming that it is inappropriate for the PM to laugh and crack jokes in Parliament when Manipur has been "on fire" for over three months.
