The Congress lost 4 states to Arvind Kejriwal's AAP, including Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Punjab.

Digital Desk: After their election fiasco in five states, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will meet today at the AICC office in Delhi. At 4 p.m., the meeting will be conducted at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) office. Many of the G-23 leaders met in Delhi on Friday at the home of senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. Anand Sharma, Kapil Sibal, and Manish Tewari, all senior members of the party, were among those who gathered at Azad's home. On Friday, Congress drew a blank in all five states. On Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party ousted the Congress from power in Punjab, where the grand old party had been beset by anti-incumbency and squabbling. In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress won only two seats this year, down from five in 2017, as the party continues to lose electoral relevance in the politically critical state. In addition, the party failed to unseat the ruling BJP in Goa, Manipur, and Uttarakhand. Furthermore, on Sunday morning, Sonia Gandhi will host a party parliamentary strategy group meeting at her home to discuss the remainder of the budget session. Following a recess, the second half of the budget session will begin on Monday. Also Read: Bhagwant Mann lifted security of 122 ex-MLAs, including Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu
