Cachar: Amid the covid-19 crises in the state, the counting of votes for the Assam Assembly election is underway, fourteen counting officer is tested covid-19 positive in Cachar district during the Rapid Antigen test (RAT)

According to sources, the officers were designated in Government Girls HS School. On Friday seven officer were tested positive while the other seven tested Covid-19 positives on Saturday.

District Commissioner Keerthi Jalli said “We are not issuing ID card without RAT negative report and during the RAT test all the 14 officers were detected covid-19 positive.”
