Digital Desk: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Saturday announced that the Covid-19 Vaccination drive for children between 15 to18 years will start from January 3, 2022.

In a major announcement, he also said that ‘precautionary’ 3rd dose for healthcare and frontline workers will be administered from January 10.

PM Modi also said that ‘Precautionary’ 3rd dose of covid-19 vaccination will be administered to those above 60 years of age with comorbidities on the recommendation of their doctors.

Narendra Modi said India will soon have a nasal vaccine and the world’s 1st DNA vaccine. Modi urged people not to panic, but at the same time asked them to be cautious and follow COVID-19 appropriate behavior.

Superintendent of GMCH, Dr. Abhijit Sarma also requests people to maintain covid appropriate behavior since the wave of covid isn’t over yet.

He urges people to maintain special carefulness during new year celebrations and avoid crowds as much as possible.
