Guwahati: As per the latest information, 20 students of Gauhati University (GU) have been tested positive for Covid-19 today. These positive cases have placed the University into a Covid hotspot zone.
Sources stated that out of these 20 students, ten students belonged to the AT9 hostel, and the remaining nine students belonged to the RCC6 and RRC5 hostels of the University.

Following the health department guidelines, tests were conducted among students of the University. The report from the latest tests revealed these 20 positive cases from GU.
As per sources, the students who tested positive for Covid-19 were later admitted to the hospital for future medical treatments.
