Digital Desk: The bike that the Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh was spotted fleeing on in the case has been found in the Darapur area, 45 kilometres from Jalandhar. Two boys found the bike abandoned on the side of the road and brought it to the police station. Day 5 of the search operation saw the Punjab Police arrive at Amritpal Singh's home in Jallupur Khera village, Amritsar, on Wednesday.

The "Waris Punjab De" chief allegedly switched cars, changed clothes at a gurdwara, and then left on two motorcycles with three more associates. Gurbhej, who was triple riding with Amritpal Singh, has also been taken into custody by the police.

Amritpal's accomplice reportedly told the police that the radical leader had said he might go if he reached Muktsar Sahib or he would submit, according to sources.

The Uttarakhand Police have also begun a search operation for radical preacher Amritpal Singh and his associates in gurdwaras, hotels, and locations along the Nepal-India border in the Udham Singh Nagar district.
