Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, an accused managed to escape from police custody in Jalukbari, Guwahati, on Wednesday, as per reports.
The Jalukbari Police had taken the accused into custody earlier this morning. However, the identity of the accused remains unknown.
Notably, the Jalukbari police initiated search operations in the surrounding areas to apprehend the escaped individual.
Earlier on May, a criminal allegedly escaped from police custody in Rangia while he was about to be placed in the lockup. Reportedly, the Rangia police nabbed the accused identified as Xun Ahmed in connection to a theft case.
