Digital Desk: A massive fire broke out at Kathiatoli in Nagaon. The blaze engulfed a biscuit factory along with three residential houses.


The incident occurred late at night at Tufan Bakery, located on the Kampur-Kathiatoli connecting road.


Three other houses in the vicinity were also completely destroyed in the fire. With the assistance of local residents, four fire brigade vehicles were deployed to control the flames.


The fire resulted in the total destruction of the biscuit factory, and three houses.


Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire originated due to an electrical short circuit.


The owner of Tufan Bakery was left in tears as he watched his home and business consumed by the flames.
