Digital Desk: A Dibrugarh-bound IndiGo flight was diverted to Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport after the pilot reported an issue with the plane's engine.

Along with two BJP MLAs, Prashant Phukan and Terash Gowala, and Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameshwar Teli, more than 150 people boarded the flight.
All the passengers on the flight were safe.

"I was on the Indigo flight with BJP MLAs Prashant Phukan and Terash Gowala. Before being redirected to Guwahati's Dibrugarh Airport, the flight was in the air for 15 to 20 minutes. We are all safe,” Rameshwar Teli said.
