Digital Desk: Dibrugarh University has once again turned into a Covid hotspot. The threat of the coronavirus has created uncertainty among the people of the nation.

As per the latest reports, the re-transmission of the virus has started in Dibrugarh university. Reports stated that two post-graduate students have tested positive for Covid-19 once again.

One student from the University who has tested positive belongs to the engineering department, and the other belongs to the economics department. The University also recently held its students' union election.

Earlier, a student of Dibrugarh University in Assam has tested positive for COVID-19. The COVID positive DU student had returned from South Africa. 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed concern over rising covid-19 cases but ruled out imposing lockdown.
